“Rootisans = Root of Artisans” is a curated marketplace for genuinely local Asian products. We connect independent makers with business buyers and individual shoppers — and every product carries a Rootisans’ Pass: documented proof of where it was made and by whom.
Everyone. Retailers, shop owners, distributors and specialty stores register for trade access; individual shoppers buy the same products at retail prices.
We are headquartered in Singapore, our curated collection focuses on the finest proven producers across Asia.
Every product carries a Rootisans’ Pass: the country, region, workshop and hands behind it — documented and checked before it is ever listed. It means 100% locally produced: materials, craft and finish belong to one honest place of origin.
Before listing, we review each maker’s business registration, production documentation and, where applicable, raw material sourcing records — and verify through a workshop site visit or our local partner verification. If the story cannot be verified, the product won’t be listed.
Independent brands, makers and producers with a genuine product story, clear ownership of their brand, and the ability to meet consistent quality and fulfilment standards. Generic mass-produced imports relabelled as a local brand have no place here.
Apply through our partnership “Sell With Us” page — tell us about your brand, products, origin and the markets you are ready to serve. We review originality, manufacturing origin, quality and documentation, and reply within 3 business days. Approved brands then build their storefront with our support.
Applying is free. You name your price and keep a fair share of every sale — we earn our margin on the door we open, never on the maker’s back. Detailed commission terms are shared with you during onboarding.
Payouts are settled on a monthly basis (once a month) via Airwallex, in your local currency.
You set your own MOQ — buyers see it on every product page and can filter by it. For fulfilment, simply deliver your orders to your local TracXlogis collection hub — TracXlogis Smartship takes full responsibility for last-mile delivery to your customers.
Counterfeit goods, unlicensed designs, misleading origin claims, and products that do not meet applicable safety and compliance requirements. If the origin story cannot be verified, the product is not listed.
Complete our trade registration — company details, business registration number, billing and shipping addresses, and any tax exemption certificate. Our team reviews your payment terms and activates your account within 3 business days. Trade prices and MOQs appear automatically once approved.
Each maker sets their own MOQ, shown clearly on every product page and in our category filters — so you can order at the scale that suits your business.
All charges are in SGD. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment partner Airwallex — as well as corporate bank transfer to our DBS Bank account and DBS QR code payments.
Because products are made in small batches by independent makers, orders cannot be modified or cancelled once placed. If something went wrong, contact us at “enquiry@rootisans.com” immediately and we will do our best to help.
Email enquiry@rootisans.com with your name, contact number, order number and the item name, describing the damage in reasonable detail (including Photos), and keep the product in its current condition for inspection.
Once our review confirms that a refund or replacement is warranted, we will replace or refund the faulty product.
